Brunel Brass
Meet The Musicians of Brunel Brass
Since its inception in 2006, Brunel has undergone a remarkable journey, evolving from a 4th section brass band into one of the premier brass ensembles in the West of England.
In 2023, the band achieved a significant milestone by securing a place among the top 50 bands worldwide, a testament to 18 years of dedication and excellence.
With an impressive track record of winning approximately 30% of the contests they enter and consistently placing in the top 6 in roughly 70% of their contests, Brunel has established itself as a formidable force in the brass banding scene.
In 2018, the band welcomed their new conductor, Daniel Hall, whose leadership has propelled them to even greater heights. Under Daniel's guidance, Brunel achieved their highest contest placings in the Championship division, excelling in both set work and entertainment competitions.
Furthermore, the band has embraced innovation by performing and commissioning numerous brass band premieres. With a commitment to pushing boundaries and delivering unique performances, Brunel continues to captivate audiences and inspire future generations.
