Discover our Shooting Stars Brass Band: Where Talent Takes Flight ☄️
Our Shooting Stars Brass Band was established in September 2023 in response to a growing number of musicians and the need for expansion. Comprising approximately 30 members, all of whom have progressed from our Rising Stars Brass Band, the ensemble features musicians with skill levels ranging from grade 3 to grade 4.
The Shooting Stars Band provides a foundational experience for aspiring musicians before they advance to the Academy Band. Following a year of participation, members typically perform in both the Shooting Stars and Academy Bands before transitioning exclusively to the Academy Band.
Rehearsals for the band are held on Saturdays from 09:50 to 10:30, led by Clive Compson.
