New Solo Trombone

Kieran Potter joined Brunel Brass in 2023 after recently discovering his well-hidden desire for banding whilst playing with Southampton University Brass Band during his undergraduate degree. Swindon born and bred, Kieran started trumpet then trombone lessons with Mike Lock, and then with David Barnard with whom he achieved a Distinction in his ATCL diploma.

Kieran played with SYM and RWBA school ensembles growing up. He also regularly plays with Swindon Concert Band, Swindon Symphony Orchestra and can also be seen playing in musical theatre pit bands on the amateur dramatics scene in the area.

He is pleased to be expanding his musical repertoire with a very welcoming band and looks forward to more rehearsals, concerts and contests!
