Rowan Maddock

Rowan's musical journey commenced at the tender age of six. Under the guidance of esteemed mentors such as Kevin Bird, Paul Collis-Smith, and the illustrious Brunel Brass Principal Cornet, Matthew Walton, Rowan's musical prowess blossomed with each passing note. For over a decade, Rowan graced the ranks of the Brunel Academy, leading the ensemble to qualification for the national final championships and securing a remarkable 2nd place finish.

Armed with a first-class degree in English Literature from Cardiff University, she now embarks on the scholarly journey towards an MA in Creative Writing. Currently residing in the vibrant city of Cardiff, Rowan immerses herself in the creative process, penning the pages of her debut novel with a mastery of language and storytelling that mirrors her musical virtuosity.
